First Chapter, First Paragraph

Men are like shoes. Some fit better than others. And sometimes you go out shopping and there's nothing you like. And then, as luck would have it, the next week you find both. I was currently in just such a position...not with shoes, but with men. And this morning it got worse. A while ago, a guy named Diesel showed up in my kitchen. Poof, he was there. Like magic. And then days later, poof, he was gone. Now, without warning, he was once again standing in front of me."http://bibliophilebythesea.blogspot.com

I've never read this author, though I know she is very popular. The opening sounds interesting, so I would read for awhile, at least.
Today I am featuring "Cancel The Wedding' by Carolyn T. Dingman.

I read Janet Evanovitch's Stephanie Plumb series when I need a laugh, a fun read. I am not "caught up" but have most on the shelf. Thanks for the reminder!

I read quite a few of the books in the series and enjoyed them--although was never a fan of the in-between books in the series. I hope you enjoy this one!

I read the first 12 of her series and then suffered burn out from reading them too close together. Perhaps I would pick up the series again at some point. Thanks.

Here's mine: “FALLING INTO PLACE”

One of my friends has been recommending this series for years. One of these days I'll actually read a Stephanie Plum story. They do sound like stories I'd enjoy.
My Tuesday post features KATIE & THE IRISH TEXAN.

I like Evanovich and her quirky characters. I've read up through number 16. I really should keep going and catch up with the antics of Stephanie Plum.
