Intrigue on many levels: the relationship with the boy and the dad and why she is back in town! Leaves a lot of unknowns for the story to take off.

Sounds like an interesting book. From the opening it sounds like she's not been a part of his life yet and the father is trying to protect the son. I hope you enjoy it :D
