Weekend Cooking

I've never tasted a Chocolate Croissant. That's odd because I loved bakery pastries. We're going to get about three for tonight. I might look up a few recipes. The pastry pictured here looks difficult, I think. Will soon know.

"Melody jogged up the stairs, trying to switch her thoughts to the cooking group tonight. The Chocolate Croissant Cooking Club started eight months ago, over hot cups of coffee with cream and a shared chocolate croissant, and they had been going strong every since....While they talked, they cooked a lot. Pasta dishes, fish entrees, soups, salads, desserts and chocolate. Especially chocolate."

I like pretty much any flavor of croissant! I buy them rather than make them. :)

Chocolate croissants are fantastic! I hope you get to try one soon. I've never attempted to make one.

I love chocolate croissants!! They're my absolute favorite bakery treat. When I was in college there was a bakery up the street from the building most of my classes were in and I'd go there for a bad day treat. I've never attempted to make them because I'm scared they'd turn out really well and I don't need to be able to have such easy access to them!

Pain de chocolaté are the best. Heat it up a little and you are in for a treat.

Yes, I did read some recipes. They are awfully hard. I quickly lost the feeling of making them. Then, I found an easy recipe? It's on MyRecipes.com. No promise that I will try them. Thanks for stopping by.

Almond croissants are my favorite, but I'd take chocolate in a pinch! Looks delicious, but I've never tried making them either.
I had a delicious chocolate croissant for breakfast this morning.

Sounds like a sweet book :) I love croissants, but have only made them once. There's a very good reason most people buy them made.
