FLIGHT TO HEAVEN BY CAPT. DALE BLACK

FLIGHT to HEAVEN BY CAPT. DALE BLACK is a "A PILOT'S TRUE STORY." Capt. Dale Black is a strong man. Unexpectedly one day his whole life changes while he rides in a two engine plane with two other men. The pilot can see nothing in the dark. Soon the plane crashes leaving two of the men dead. Capt. Dale Black is rescued. However, almost every part of his body is broken, smashed or shaved off. Part of his face is shaved off. Living with all of these injuries he also has to live with the guilt of being blamed for the crash. Also, most people want to know why they survived while other people died.

It is not long before we learn that Capt. Dale Black is a man of faith. He begins to rely heavily on the Lord's help believing God is a miracle worker. Often his doctor will shake his head in wonder when there is seemingly impossible change in a smashed ankled where no blood is flowing. At other times, Capt. Dale Black will feel God does not want him to fly again. This makes him cry out to God more than ever along with reading the red lettered words spoken by Christ in the Holy Bible.

It is more than an armchair adventure, more than an inspirational story. It is an unforgettable story. I really did not believe Capt. Dale Black would fly again. This one man's life proves it is never necessary to throw away a dream. It is necessary to believe and pray to God telling Him the importance of the dream. "I was His. His child. His baby bird. And He was going to help me fly...I wasn't destined for the nest. I felt destined for the sky." Oh, there is a need for plenty of patience along the way and good, faithful friends.

I feel very grateful for the people in this world with such strong will power, a gift of God. It gives me hope and the desire and the bravery to improve my community and the world in some way. Most of all I will always, always remember Capt. Dale Black's out of body experience as he traveled to our Heavenly Home. "If the brightest light on earth could shine through the most magnificent chandelier with tens of thousands of flawless crystals, it would appear as dirty glass in comparison to the amazing brightness and colors that entranced me." This journey is extraordinary. What Capt. Dale Black saw gives me a reason not to fear death, but to look forward to beauties beyond my comprehension. Dale Black
