" Henry nodded, taking the handle of the little red wagon, heading for home, down the darkened, empty streets of Japantown. Pulling behind him a lifetime of memories. Memories that he'd hide, and a secret he would keep, somewhere back home." http://shouldbereading.wordpress.com

" "Old Henry Lee stood transfixed by all the commotion at the Panama Hotel. What had started as a crowd of curious onlookers eyeballing a television news crew had now swollen into a polite mob of shoppers, tourists, and a few punk-looking street kids, all wondering what the big deal was. In the middle of the crowd stood Henry, shopping bags hanging at his side. He felt as if he were waking from a long forgotten dream. From the very beginning of The Ocean At The End of The Lane by Neil Gaiman, I didn't like Ursula Monkton. I didn't like her name either. It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

I finished When Camels Fly by NLB Horton. Also finished The Ocean At The End of The Lane by Neil Gaiman. I'm anxious to read more of his books. Now I'm reading The Trail by Ed Underwood. It's a courtesy book for review by Tyndale. I am also reading the book everybody has read, " Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford. He has a new book out. I haven't read this one yet. When I started it, I liked it immediately. I already feel close to the father and son, Henry and Marty. http://bookjourney.wordpress.com

" " The kitten lay down on my lap and curled up, wrapping around itself until was nothing more than a flattened circlet of fluffy black fur. It closed its vivid blue eyes, the color of an ocean, and it slept, and it purred."

http://rosecityreader.blogspot.com   A Cat On A Beach Blanket by Lydia Adamson Well, I made it through all the holidays. Just barely. What I felt like doing on Thanksgiving Day was to join my old neighbor Mrs. Oshrin down at the community soup kitchen, where she volunteers her time. But I ended up at a big bash at my friend Nora's bistro near the theater district. Nora said it would be an unforgivable insult to her if I didn't show up. So I went and ate the lousy turkey.
